I think the reason Shadows couldn’t listen to music after Jimmys death was because of the fact that it reminded him too much of Jimmy. Consciously or subconsciously. But yeah, this interview was real special I think it’s great that they keep in touch with us fans as much as possible. And I kinda feel bad for Johnny lol

Hearing them talk about Jimmy brings back every emotion I felt on the morning I found out about his passing. I don’t know what they’ll decide to do in the future, but the love all of us fans share for Avenged will undoubtedly stay with us foREVer…

I’m so happy I got to see Jimmy play before he died. I’ll hold that memory in my head and heart until the day that I die. I’m happy to be part of the Avenged family.. even as a small and maybe unsignificant fan. But together we are not insignificant and I’m glad that not only A7x but also their loyal followers were all brought together in the midst of our terrible loss. Even if they are over and it’s too painful for them to continue on I’m just happy that I was a part of something so special. Avenged Sevenfold truly is, but hopefully now was, the best band of this generation. Rock on guys.

Zacky Vengeance’s really cool .. I’m very fond of him, his way of playing rythm very good .. very nimble fingers .. I want to be like him .. I’m obsessed with him, hopefully I can be like her,,
I also really like Matt Shadows .. he sounds really cool .. let alone in adding to his voice scream ..

Although, I always find it so incredible that A7X are able to go through these interviews, for the fans, after everything that they’ve been through. I’m still in denial a lot of the time about the fact that Jimmy is no longer with us…so thank you for continuing and giving the fans hope when we really need it.

i actually was in the same boat as matt. i grew up listening to jimmy, he’s always been my favorite drummer of all time and i’ve been highly influenced by his style, his playing, and his amazing personality. i couldn’t listen to anything for weeks after i heard about jimmy. avenged music took me a long time to get back on to, but all music made me so sad because i always mainly hear drums, and every song i listen to brought me to tears. i’ll miss you forever jimmy and you will always help push my life to a better place and reminding me to be a good person. i love you jimmy
