A health concern has forced Mumford & Sons to postpone three concert dates on their current U.S. tour. Tonight’s (June 11) concert at Gexa Energy Pavillion in Dallas, Texas, as well as concert dates in The Woodlands, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana, have been cancelled.
According to an announcement on Mumford & Sons’ website, bassist Ted Dwane was taken to the hospital yesterday where a blood clot was found on the surface of his brain. He will have to undergo surgery to fix the clot, but treatment and recovery require the band to postpone their tour until Dwane is on the mend. Complete statement below.
