For Rise Against’s seventh album, frontman Tim McIlrath called The Black Market “a lot more introspective.”

“Rise Against has always been a political band, but also a personal band,” McIlrath in a release around the album’s announcement last month. “We’ve always had songs that have a foot in both worlds.”

For fans curious about what a Rise Against record more firmly planted in that latter world might sound like, wait no more. The Black Market is now available to stream on iTunes ahead of its release on July 15.

The album features a lead single in “I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore,” finding a fair share of rock and alternative radio airplay.

The 12-song album comes in at a little over 46 minutes, with a 13th track, “Escape Artists,” available as a Japanese bonus track.
