Movie theaters across England will be screening The Man Who Fell to Earth, the 1976 sci-fi film starring David Bowie, to celebrate its 30th anniversary. And now fans will finally be able to purchase the soundtrack.

Bowie may have starred in The Man Who Fell to Earth, but he didn’t appear on the album. The music instead came from John Phillips and Stomu Yamash’ta. Thanks to missing master tapes, an official soundtrack was never released, but with the 30th anniversary approaching it will finally see the light of day.

Fans can purchase a double CD on September 9 or a deluxe vinyl box set on November 18. The box set comes with an impressive 48-page hardcover book that delves into the film’s history, including notes from its director Graeme Clifford, as well as a new essay by Paolo Hewitt.

In the film, Bowie plays Thomas Jerome Newton, a humanoid alien who comes to earth searching for water for his home planet. The Man Who Fell to Earth also starred Rip Torn.
